Jazz Notes consists of guitar, acoustic bass, drums, keyboards, and female vocalist. Our repertoire ranges from Miles Davis to Stevie Wonder and many things in between. Whether you are looking for quiet background music for a dinner party or up tempo music to dance to we can do it all. We can configure the group to fit your needs whether it be a duo, trio, quartet, or more. Drop us an email for booking info.

Noel Simpson (Acoustic Bass) Noel has been playing the bass since the '70's, and plays both electric and acoustic bass. He has played in numerous local bands and is an ardent jazz fan. Noel owns Circle recording studio in Santa Cruz, that has recorded numerous local bands. Jazz Notes has just completed our first CD there.

Jim Baum (Drums) Jim has played with Jimmy Witherspoon, The Robben Ford band, as well as many local Santa Cruz bands.

Andrea Paradise (Vocals) Andrea has played with Free Fall, Daily Planet, Janet Kirker & The Urge, The Rage, Rhytmical, Cabrillo jazz ensemble, Eclectic Company, Full Spectrum, Pacific voices, Westside Folk & Gospel Choir.

Warren Paradise (Keyboards) Warren has been playing keys since he was a kid. Warren is an Alumni of Berklee college of music in Boston. He has played with Encore, Windjammer, The Rude Boys, Kilgore Trout, Jon Jiles, Nite Patrol, No Respect, Back Alley Band, Janet Kirker & The Urge, Paradise, Rhythmical, The Rage, and too many more to remember. Warren has played on both coasts and has extensive recording experience.
